I Can’t…

Happy Monday Y’all!

I can’t believe what an awesome weekend we girls had. (Poor Hubby had a long work day Friday, and then got called in Saturday.)

Friday we had a play date with their favorite cousin B Man! I also got to spend some time visiting with my Tía while the kids played. Saturday I got to catch up with one of my oldest friends. We had an adventure trying to get into a restaurant at 7PM on a Saturday night, but we FINALLY did, and we got our steak. The girls got to go to a birthday party, and D1 also had a sleepover while D2 had special time with her Daddy. Sunday I was able to spend time with my old college chum A, and we are planning a short bff trip to Disney in September! We’re celebrating our 31st birthday’s!

It’s a great feeling to be able to reconnect with close friends. Just to hear that they’re doing well, and are happy is refreshing. We’re all on the same path now. Married with kids or working hard for the future. I’m proud of them, and feel ecstatic to be involved in their lives.

I cant believe it another Disney trip! Dang… another Disney trip!? Yes! Shhhhut it. Don’t judge me. I’m addicted to Disney. It could be worse! I could be a druggie or alcoholic, I could neglect my kids, or treat them like crap, but I am not and I don’t. I have a wholesome addiction. A family fun type of addiction. I take care of home and everyone there, and I need a break sometimes. People scoff at Stay-at-Home-Moms. I have no idea why. Think about it: If you were with your kids 24/7, 365, without a break, how sane would you be? You’d lose your freaking mind. It’s not as easy as some would believe it to be. It’s not just sitting around. It’s keeping things orderly. By things I mean the house, animals, and the kids. Keeping track of schedules, and homework. Most days I don’t have any interaction with adults outside of the house. It gets maddening. If you know a stay-at-home-mom, you might want to stop by and offer to watch the kids while she runs and gets a cup of coffee or gets a pedicure. You could be her saving grace!

I (also) can’t believe that I was able to find some new Racoons for River. Sunday A and I stopped at PetSmart and I found 3 different Coons for the pup. She now has 5 total.

And… She loves them all!

That’s all I’ve got. Have a marvelous Monday Y’all!!!
